What Memories We Make tells Dana’s life in more than 360 images and the stories behind them – a joyous, personal photobook without borders. Iconic photographs and artwork sit alongside previously unseen Polaroids of Dana, David Bowie, Angie Bowie and Mick Jagger, and many more of the great and the good of British music, film and television.
This limited-edition hardback captures the people, places and moments that shaped her: from her earliest performances and life in London to birthday concerts in Puttaparthi, film sets in Marrakesh to the 606 Club today.

What Memories We Make is a limited-edition hardback and restricted to 1,500 copies. It publishes on 31 January 2027, but pre-orders – placed directly through the Hawksmoor Publishing Bookstore – will ship from late November 2026, and the first 500 come with a uniquely numbered bookmark signed by Dana. Both are first come, first served.
